● The Brief

The brief: one skincare product, a complete ecommerce image collection

The brief: show the packaging clearly, reveal the formula’s texture, and give the product a distinctive lifestyle setting. Each image needed a job within the collection.

Clean product photographs establish the details. Close-ups reveal the formula. Designed graphics bring product information and imagery together for shoppers browsing a listing or social feed.

The creative direction started with the tube itself. Its soft peach packaging became the foundation for a warm, sunlit palette across the collection.

White-background skincare photography: packaging, color, and label detail

We photographed the front and back of the tube against white, with attention to its peach color, shape, black cap, and printed label. These studio photographs also became the product assets for the creative work that followed.

The front photograph introduces the product. The back lets shoppers inspect the ingredients, directions, and details they would normally turn the tube over to read.

● The Concept

Lifestyle skincare photography: the Morning Glow concept

Morning Glow gives the product a warm, unhurried morning setting. Stone surfaces echo the peach packaging, while botanical shadows introduce a natural element.

Directional light creates depth, and the uncluttered composition keeps the tube prominent. This lifestyle direction gives the brand a mood that can carry across product pages, social posts, and campaign creative.

● Real vs AI

Real product photography, expanded with AI-assisted creative

The actual product is the starting point. We photographed the tube, printed packaging, and exfoliating jelly in the studio, creating the source images used throughout this project.

AI-assisted creative expands the possibilities around those photographs. Styled environments, botanical elements, and lifestyle imagery give the product different settings, while graphic design brings photography and product information together into finished layouts.

That combination gives one studio shoot a broader creative range while keeping the real product at the center of the collection. Explore our AI-assisted product photography Concept Plan.

● Behind the Scenes

Skincare texture photography: showing the formula up close

We photographed the exfoliating jelly beside its tube, showing its translucent appearance and visible particles. Light across the surface reveals the texture, while the close composition connects the formula to its packaging.

For shoppers who cannot open the tube, this provides a useful view of what is inside. It also shifts the collection from the outline of the package to the small details of the formula.

The texture study also informed an AI-assisted application image, showing a thin layer of jelly spread across the back of a hand. The photographed formula served as the visual reference for its translucency and exfoliant particles, extending the texture story into an application concept.

● Product in Hand

Skincare lifestyle imagery: bringing the product into the daily routine

A hand-held composition brings a personal feel to the collection. The peach tube stays prominent and its label remains readable, while warm stone, soft fabric, and botanical details carry the Morning Glow direction into an everyday skincare setting.

This image gives the product a different role within the collection: something to pick up and use. It also provides a flexible composition for product pages, social posts, and campaign creative.

● The Final Assets

From product photographs to Amazon infographics and social creative

The source photographs became finished marketing assets, from packaging and formula views to lifestyle concepts and designed graphics. Each adds a different part of the product story.

For the graphics below, we combined product photography with benefit messaging and usage information drawn from the packaging. Clear hierarchy gives viewers a starting point and keeps supporting details easy to scan.
